Responsibilties

• Analyzing the packaging request on the service now.

• Gathering the required information from requestor to proceed with the packaging.

• Reviewing the source binaries from customer to understand the points to be taken care during the packaging stage.

• Packaging, customizing and troubleshooting the applications with the customer’s standards.

• Testing the Packages with the customer build to ensure the functionality of the package is as expected against the test scenarios provided by the customer.

• Performing Quality Analysis for the applications done by peers and identifying the errors and give a feedback to the peers to make them aware of the issues and fixes.

• Communicating with the customer counter parts regarding the clarifications on the requests and giving them an update on the ongoing work on a daily basis.

• Hosting daily/weekly meetings to discuss the priorities, forecast and issues / Clarifications.

• Perform the package testing on UAT machines.

• Attending change mangement calls.

• Deploying packages using the inhousetool “AppLauncher”.

• Providing support for packaging incidents.

Experience:

• Played a pivotal role as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Fidelity, overseeing the testing of software for production, with a focus on safety and integrity.

• Conducted hardware testing in addition to software testing responsibilities.

• Worked in the Application Packaging team as a System Engineer, utilizing tools such as InstallShield, MSI, VBS, PowerShell, and AAPV for comprehensive application packaging.

• Managed autopilot profiles in InTune, involving the addition and removal of application versions to maintain up-to-date profiles.

• Proficient in creating and making applications accessible in the company portal for self-installation on the InTune autopilot side.
