2016 April I moved to IBM, as my business unit was acquired by IBM. Apart from the below-listed projects, I have also worked on AT&T client projects VWR, BBB, Indian health, Target, M&S, Hyundai, at&t AIC OpenStack Cloud, ToysRUS.
Data center migration from the AT&T data center to IBM Private and Public Cloud Bluemix and AWS. I am a team member for this project working as Infrastructure DevOps Engineer. I am responsible for support of the systems during the migration and installation and configuration to move the physical data center to IBM Cloud and AWS and Docker and Kubernetes.
With 7 years of experience at AT&T as a Linux Build Engineer, worked with different Business units to build their infrastructure as per client’s requirement, having troubleshooting knowledge and expertise in the below areas over the period.
OS – RHEL 5, 6 and 7.
Virtualization – ESX servers, clusters, datacenter, farms, vSphere, vCenter, Storage vMotion, HA and DRS.
Configured OVMs, and OVS (Physical servers) making them ready to join in the existing OVM manager.
Volume Manager - VxVM, Redhat LVM
High availability Cluster – Veritas
Hardware - Cisco UCS, HP Blade C-class, Dell, HP G5 to G9 servers (proliant 380,480,580).
Esxi installation and add the Esxi host to VC
VC configuration (Storage, Networking, Adding Esxi hosts, Datacenter creation)
Networking configuration (vSwitches (vSS) will be configured, a Production (Front net),
Management (Back net), and a 10 GB Backup vSwitch. Each vSwitch will have 2 Uplinks configured in an Active / Standby Mode.)
