The aim of this research is to study the transition in gender roles that is characterizing contemporary society in India. From this perspective, the research focuses not on how male and female differ, but on how people think they have changed over a period of time.

BELONGINGNESS AND HOPE AMONG TIBETAN REFUGEES
This project was a part of the college curriculum and was aimed at understanding the journey of Tibetan refugees in India – their adjustments and adaptations, the challenges that they have faced earlier and continue to face now, how they overcome these challenges, their sense of belongingness towards India and Tibet and
their future hopes.
The project was conducted using in-depth interview method with Tibetans living in the settlements of McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh and Majnu ka Tila, Delhi – India
