Project Description

Worked on a web-based Loan Origination System (LOS) designed to automate the complete loan lifecycle including loan application, KYC verification, credit bureau checks, underwriting, approval, sanction, disbursement, and handover to Loan Management System (LMS).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Studied and analyzed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).

• Designed and executed manual test cases for LOS modules.

• Performed functional, integration, smoke, regression, and system testing.

• Validated loan application creation, eligibility rules, and underwriting decisions.

• Tested KYC verification, document upload, and customer validation flows.

• Verified credit bureau integration (CIBIL) and response handling.

• Tested approval, rejection, and pending loan scenarios.

• Logged, tracked, and retested defects using JIRA.

• Coordinated with developers and business analysts for defect resolution.

• Executed UAT test cases and supported business users during UAT phase.

• Performed basic database validation using SQL queries.

• Prepared test execution reports and defect summary reports.

• Actively participated in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups and sprint meetings.
