Description: DXC CyberLife is a web-enabled, n-tiered system that provides cost-effective administration of life and annuity products. It's a complete software solution that provides functionality from new business through claim processing including product definition, new business/underwriting, administration, billing and collection, distribution management, correspondence and reporting. Real-time processing and 24x7 access to information enables excellent customer service. DXC CyberLife supports the industry's broadest spectrum of life insurance and annuity products and product features, from traditional to innovative non-traditional products.

Responsibilities:

• Use of COBOL, JCL, VSAM and related mainframe utilities.
• Followed Agile methodology (Scrum) for product development.
• Investigated effect of code changes on existing JCL streams and made modifications according to business requirements.

Project# 2

Duration: January 2018 –December 2020

Client: Genworth

Description: Currently working as a Developer as part of conversion project. Objective of the project is to bring the insurance policies to Cyberlife system which are currently administered by Dell Products. There are around 5 products which are currently administered by Dell and needs to be converted to various Cyberlife products

Responsibilities:

• Identified opportunities to modify software to avoid future problems and promote continuous improvement.
• Involved rigorous Development phase, Requirement walkthroughs and Issue fixes Scheduling of Batch Cycles in new test regions
• Monitoring Production and Test Cycles Preventive Maintenance to proactively analyze application programs and suggest improvements.

Project# 3

Duration: January 2015 –December 2017

Client: Southern Farm Bureau

Description: The basis of SFB project is Production Support and delivering small as well as medium enhancements in Exceed product. Exceed is CSCs own product which is based on Property and Casualty Insurance. CSC has the Exceed base system and SFB has customized this product based on their business requirement.

Responsibilities:

• · All production errors resulting in business day would be sent as incidents which would be holding up processing of policies. Area of work would be to understand what business was trying to achieve and gather as much as information possible.
• · Recreating issue in lower regions and resolve same by analyzing and providing a data fix or workaround as applicable.
• · Apart from daily work, worked on simultaneous development tasks for already identified RC and Enhancement/Optimization Projects
• · Done extensive backend testing using DB2 queries to retrieve data from database and checked data integrity
• · Involved in overall policy processing steps with thorough analysis.
• · Preparing WSR, time estimates and documenting reported issues.
