- Involved in end-to-end manufacturing of lithium-ion pouch cells, with hands-on involvement in slurry preparation, coating, calendaring, welding, cell assembly and electrolyte filling, ensuring process consistency
- Designed and developed structural components for cylindrical and prismatic cells, including current collectors, terminal sub-assemblies, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks; optimized laser and ultrasonic welding to reduce IR losses and enhance mechanical integrity
- Conducted cut-open analysis of commercial cells for reverse engineering, identifying critical design and material insights to inform in-house development
- Performed comprehensive Failure Analysis (FA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of cylindrical cell failures; drove corrective actions.
