  • DAME - Jaguar Land Rover's Digital API and Microservices Enabling Platform. It enables the publication of APIs and microservices that can be used either 'internally' by JLR users or systems or 'externally' by JLR partners, suppliers, or remote users.
  • Technologies/Tools: WSO2 APIM, WSO2 MI, Java/Spring, Kibana, Grafana, WSO2 DAS, Kubernetes, Dockers, Helm Charts, Harbor, Bamboo.
  • This is a combination of Services and Accelerators that provides a fully managed API and Microservice platform. It makes use of Kubernetes as an orchestrator for the 'docker' containers that will hold the platform's microservices.
  • Deployed on the public cloud by Amazon Web Services to permit communication with JLR's systems of record. The WSO2 API Manager software suite provides API management, which is containerized and deployed on the Kubernetes cluster.
  • Within 8months, all APIs/Services on the old legacy platform IFAB' Information Fabric were moved to DAME using WSO2 APIM, ESB, IDS, GREG, MB, and CloudSQLProxy.
  • Existing CIS-DV APIs were refactored into Microservices on a new integration platform.
  • Without any external training, learnt all these technologies on the go and migrated all the APIs within the defined time.
  • It is secured, auto-provisioned, and monitored operationally.
