Nature of Work And responsibility: Heading Centralized Fabric Quality assurance Team & Fabric Inspection/QA Department

• visiting to out sourcing units for fabric follow up/order status monitoring/ Quality Audit part.
• execution part of Fabric quality assurance department daily activities as per standard operating procedures & fabric visual inspection system & on time distribution of fabric with set of Relevant Reports to Garment production units to avoid feeding issues.

Present work profile:

a) Grading fabric Quality by 4 point visual inspection system & Quantity checking as per norms of percentage. Grading of fabric according to defect level and frequency.

b) Analysis of 100% Fabric width shade sorting and shrinkage parameters using latest equipments.

c) Fabric Centre to selvedge shade variation and running length shade variation analysis by preparation of Bands & grading with the help of Grey scale.

d) Handling of indigo/sulphur denims by Blankets Preparation washing activity against approved shade counters and grouping.

e) Got thorough knowledge of denim fabric meant for bottoms and jackets including its testing, washes involved /shade sorting & shade taper analysis.

f) Able to analyze fabric quality of fabric by conducting all types of Laboratory test like strength, count, crease Recovery, GSM, Rubbing fastness, CF to wash at In house Lab

g) getting FPT reports From Arvind mill lab and accredited labs like ITS, SGS Texten Lab, Textile committee well within the time.

h) Interacting with Different Buying office & Buyer QA& QCs by offering fabric lots for quality checking.

h) Follow up for the consignments by visiting to supplier production units by doing Random Quality audit. Taking fabric issues with suppliers to get claims & replenishment of fabric towards defective quantity supplied to cover of shortfall of fabric. Debiting to supplier through sourcing department for Rejections in supplied quantity of fabric.
