Title: Generation of electricity from railway tracks.

Description: Green and efficient electricity generation continues to be one of the major challenges of today. With this project, we aim to solve the energy crisis by capturing the energy generated on the railway tracks during the train passage by applying the rack and pinion mechanism. This mechanism involves placing various pistons at various strategical locations without hampering the speed or safety of the train passage. Pistons are initiated with the train movement and by the rack and pinion principle, DC electricity is generated and passed to batteries for storage and later consumption.

The major goals aimed to achieve are achieving eco-friendly energy and to utilize the current power grid for storage and distribution. By implementing this design, the energy consumption can be met and bring the demand down.

Actively participated in robotics seminars like drone agriculture fertilizing at the innovation centre. Also attended the national science Olympiad and Australian National Chemistry Quiz.
