• Execution of OMC worth 850 Cr with CIDCO for operation and maitenance of Metro line .Working as head of O&M organization, Setting up O&M organization, placement, selection of work force and O&M contracts for next 10 years
• Co-ordination with contractors and various civil and system agencies for speed up the work of testing and commissioning of the equipment’s related with Traction, Rolling Stock, Signaling, Telecom, IT, AFC
• Co-ordination with CIDCO for project execution and O&M activities for timely payment and decisions making

• Managing the project with a cost of 350 Cr where Multinational companies were the contractor, Met project deadlines without sacrificing build quality or workplace safety.

• Involved in execution of 25KV traction lines for the Nagpur Metroproject.
• Erection and commissioning of traction system of around 20Km.
• Another 17Km work is under progress with all switching stations.

• The first assignment took to switch the commercial tariff to HT Railways which has saved Rs 2.71 Cr
• All the running rooms cooling systems revamped with around 200 T load HVAC
• Participation of all staff from all the departments in energy conservation in the proactive manner and other initiatives has reduced our energy consumption by 7.56% for the first time in last 10 years
• All the lights have been replaced with LED lights in 106 stations of Nagpur Division which has resulted in above saving
• The first HOG generation locos in trains introduced in Nagpur Division
• Operating prestigious Mumbai Duranto and other trains bound to Pune, Delhi and Ambala.

• Loco holding has gone up to 225 Locos
• Modifications done in oil pumps to reduce radiator leakages and loco failures on account of GTO failures, which has resulted in reduction of energy consumption to the tune of 9 Crores annually
• Introduced IMS (ISO &OHAS) certification of better safety and health standards.

• In charge of operation and maintenance of 1800 TKM of 25KV lines and 13 EHV traction substations
• Involved in project planning and implementation of traction works in the division
• Commissioned Electrification of three sidings of Chikani road, DLI Borkhedi and VIPL Sindi around 36KM
• Electrification work of Amla- Chhindwara section has progressed up to 60 KMs
• Availed Open Access of traction power from RGPCL for Nagpur division
• Energy conservation measures adopted and saved Rs 3.5 Cr.

• In Nagpur we have focused on energy conservation in train operation by various measures
• Reduction in stalling of loaded goods trains by various measures
• New lobby added at Nagpur station to get more efficiency
• Systems of call boy have been replaced with mobiles
• Driver’s line box size has been reduced and common line box system introduced
• All the running rooms have been provided with subsidized meals
• Around 200 staff surrendered in all above exercises
• Crew and locomotive utilization optimized
• Management of 2000 loco crew and allied staff for running 200 goods trains and 150 passenger trains daily.

• The Anti-collision-device project is being monitored as Secretary of Anti Collision Device Task Force
• The project will be shortly taken up in three major zones of Indian Railway
• This project is a safety net for railways which include embedded systems and various communication technologies including RF, GPS and GSM to prevent train collisions of various natures

• Ventilation system of around 25 Km tunnel length and lighting around 65 Km of tunnel length, completed various projects of energy saving, SCADA of tunnel ventilation

• The jurisdiction of 1100 KM of line with more than 100 stations and three major coaching depots
• The Trivandrum division has jurisdiction of more than 1100 Km, 1000 coaches including 250 Air-conditioned coaches and a vast distribution network of LT with more than 2500 houses

• I was looking after maintenance of 2 ,110 KV substations, 120 KM of 25 KV traction lines, operation of SCADA, operation and trip maintenance of Electric locos of capacities up to 5000HP
