Company Overview: Filmstoc Private Limited is my film production company
I believe that cinema is a form of creative expression and can be used as an instrument for social change because it has the capacity to create a climate of sensitivity in which change can occur
Identify and green light script/novel of a film
Pitch the idea to potential private investors and studios
Source and secure financing for the film
Manage the overall production budgets
Appoint and manage key team members including writers, directors, actors, heads of departments, and other personnel

Lead the internal team and collaborate with executive producers, line producers, marketing and PR agencies, and film distributors

See the film through to advertising and publicity so as to generate excitement and eyeballs before its release

I made my second film called ‘Chuskit’ based on the right to education (RTE) Act in 2019
My debut feature film ‘Manto’ was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in the official category in 2018
In September 2018, we had a nationwide theatrical release

Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS)

Company Overview: MWS is an NGO in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, India that I am heading
It supports and engages with local rural communities and empowers them to take charge of their own lives
MWS focus is on empowering women and the girl child in rural India and it works in four hundred villages with nearly two hundred thousand beneficiaries
Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer on developing and strengthening the nine programmes/initiatives of MWS to promote education, computer literacy, and sustainable livelihoods
Strategic Alignment: Align the team, and the various institutions and activities run by MWS, with the vision, mission, and goals
Operational Oversight: Oversee the operation of the various institutions and programs and ensure the steady progress of projects in MWS
Policy Planning: Develop policies and procedures and oversee their implementation
Financial Planning: Oversee the budget and financial plans developed by the CEO and promote financial sustainability
Fundraising: Secure funding from new and existent donors, and coordinate fundraising efforts
Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee and ensure regular and effective monitoring and evaluation of MWS and its program and use the information to guide decision-making
Developing Partnerships: Identify and build strategic partnerships to further the goals of MWS and build its capacity to effectively implement its activities
Representation: Represent MWS to the Government, private sector, other NGOs, individual or institutional partners, and the media
Supporting Governance: Provide the CEO with the necessary support to ensure transparency, accountability, and statutory compliance

Besides leading its programmes I have also conceptualized, organized, and executed ten fundraiser fashion shows and a charity marathon to raise funds for the ongoing programmes of the NGO

Jet Airways

Involved in different projects and various HR initiatives
Worked on the Inflight Entertainment Programme in Jet Airways and undertook few more projects under Product Delivery such as recreating the image of the Airline whilst organising events for Jet Airways both internally and externally
September 2014-Worked with Etihad Airways visual communication’s team
I was involved in the road show to announce the partnership between Alitalia and Etihad Airways in Rome to an audience of 5,000 staff
August 2014-Organised a press conference in Mumbai to announce the partnership between Jet Airways and Etihad Airways
July 2014-Conceptualised, planned and executed an event to announce the partnership between Jet Airways and Etihad Airways for the staff of Jet Airways - an audience of 500 in New Delhi and 1500 in Mumbai
April 2014-I took the work done by the Mijwan girls to Tampa at the IIFA awards
This was the first time that Mijwan travelled Internationally
We hosted a fashion show as a fund raiser the proceeds of which went towards the education and empowerment of the girl child in rural India
December 2013-I was given the responsibility by the product delivery team in Jet Airways to head the Inflight Entertainment Programme – to discuss and finalise the content – films, tv programmes in various languages, music etc
2012 to 2013-I was made responsible by the management in Jet Airways for verbal communication, product enhancement, customer service, announcements and grooming for ground and cabin crew and led a team of ten members of staff from managerial position to Customer Service Assistant towards achieving the above goals
We helped train crew and ground staff in these areas in all metro cities
April 2011-Lead the project ‘Excellence in service on ground and in air’ in Jet Airways
January 2011-Adapted and directed a play ‘Black Comedy’ by Peter Shaffer with Jet Airways employees as an HR initiative in 14 cities across India towards empowerment, effective communication and team building within the organisation
November 2010-Directed ‘Six Seasons of Love’, a play adapted and acted by Jet Airways members of staff as a communications workshop that helps unite employees from all areas of work
July 2009- I also produced and directed a docu-drama on my father Naresh Goyal - founder of Internationally acclaimed airline ‘Jet Airways’ named ‘There is no one like him’ to highlight his inspirational and incredible journey literally from ‘rag to riches’
March 2009-My film ‘Sunaina’ which I wrote, produced and directed was screened at BAFTA at the ‘Tongues on Fire’ film festival and International Scottish Film Festival
