Description: VSP Global provides vision care and optical products. Worked solely as a backend developer responsible for designing and developing multiple functionalities.
Responsibilities:

• Developed and deployed several modules using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Implemented RESTful APIs and maintained code quality through BDD and JUnit.
• Automated deployment via Jenkins pipelines and collaborated with cross-functional teams for enhancements.

Project: UBI – UPI App & Admin Portal (Apr 2024 – Present)
Technology: Spring Boot, Spring Reactive, RESTful Web Services, OpenShift, JWT, AES Encryption/Decryption, Cassandra, HCL DB, JUnit
Description: UBI project involves development of a UPI application and Admin Portal for backend operations.
Responsibilities:

• Worked as Senior Backend Developer for UPI app and Backend Team Lead for Admin Portal.
• Involved in requirement gathering, design, development, and client demos.
• Designed API specifications, LLD, and data flow diagrams; managed SDLC activities.
• Implemented secure modules using JWT and AES encryption, and deployed services on OpenShift.

• Project: CITI bank (July 2022– May 2023)
• Technology: Core Java, Spring MVC, Restful services, Spring Boot, OpenShift, Microservices.
• Description: CITI bank is a diversified global financial service. As a part of this project, we are working on is a DBWEB tool which requires maker and checker regarding providing access to other database, Onboarding of other databases through this portal is done, so they can access their database through the portal.
• Role and Responsibilities:
• Developed and implemented robust, clean and efficient code modules, significantly enhancing the applications performance.
• Collaborated with business and stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
• Managing DevOps processes, including Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines and production environments.
• Involved in the process of Code Deployment, Problem Management, Change Management.

• Project: Prudential – Group Insurance (April 2020– July 2022).
• Technology: Core Java, Java 8, Restful Services, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS.
• Description: Prudential Financial, Inc whose subsidiaries provide insurance, investment management and other financial products and services. As a part of this project, we are working on Onboarding, Enrolment, Billing, Claims, Broker Setup, Reports for customers.
• Role and Responsibilities:
• Developed RESTful web services and contributed to robust service-based architectures for claim management.
• Managed DevOps processes, including Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines and production environments.
• Written SQL queries and stored procedure using PL/SQL.
• Worked on front-end development.

• 1) Project: State Farm Insurance – CIMS Enhancements (Dec 2018 – April 2020)
• Description: The CIMS (Catastrophe Information management system) application used to keep track of all the Catastrophe claims related work done at State Farm. It includes maintaining all the Assignments data for Catastrophe employees– claim handlers, deploying the unemployed Cat claim handlers to Cat sites, providing the cat claim handler with all claim information assigned to them.
• 2) Project: JRA (Struts based framework) to Spring Migration (April 2017 – Dec 2018)
• Description: This effort was part of an umbrella project to upgrade SF legacy systems to the latest technologies. The main purpose of this project was to migrate CIMS and ORT applications from SF JRA Java Framework (Client specific java framework based on Struts) to Spring MVC.
• Role and Responsibilities:
• Develop code for CIMS and ORT CXF Restful web services as well as CIMS and ORT Web application (Uses Spring MVC)
• Coordinate with other developers and onsite coordinator to gather requirements for developing code.
• Write JUnits for ORT, CIMS. Also Review the code written by other developers.
• Run Static and Dynamic scans on the developed code and fix the issues found during these scans. Deploy the code to various testing environments.
• Attend daily scrum calls, planning sessions, retrospective meetings for each sprint.
