- Company Overview: SAMTEL HAL DISPLAY SYSTEMS (SHDS) is a joint venture between Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and SAMTEL Avionics Ltd. (SA) and was created to address the avionics requirements for all HAL star platforms - both fixed and rotary wing. The JV was formed in 2006 as the first public-private partnership in the Defence avionics sector. The SAMTEL HAL JV achieved the unique distinction of being the first public-private partnership in Defence avionics space in India to indigenously design, qualify and serial produce a multifunction display for induction on a fighter aircraft.
- Quality Management Systems AS9100 Rev D and Regulatory product approval from CEMILAC, RCMA etc.
- Manage QMS Process deployment, monitor process performance & Identified improvements needs.
- Conducted internal audits to ensure compliance with AS 9100 Rev D standards, identifying and resolving non-conformities.
- Familiarity of standards MIL-STD-810G, JSS55555 & MIL-STD-461G compliance requirements.

- Experience in preparing technical design documents like Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), ESS procedures, COTs Screening Procedure as per the Customer requirements.
- Owns Quality Planning activities such as QAP, Incoming Inspection, Line Quality and Outgoing Quality Inspection.
- Defining the Relevant Quality Plans Specific to the project and verify implementation of Plans Quality Plan, and relevant Quality Procedures.
- Ensure that the solutions delivered to the customer comply with both customer and company requirements, with the required Level of Quality.
- In charge of incoming quality inspection activities for Electronics /Electrical and Mechanical parts.
- Responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance activities for new and existing products.
- Ensure proper verification of in-process and end product/project artifacts.
- Updating Incoming & Outgoing material GR status in SAP system.
- Raising NCR in case of non-conformance observed in the receipt or in Incoming.
- Responsible for the calibration of Measurement and Monitoring Equipment (MMEs)
- Ensure configuration management activities are implemented adequately.
- Measure product dimensions examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection reports & non-conformance reports.
