RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience)

Phase 1:

• KVK Attachment: Gained practical training and exposure at Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
• Vermicompost Training: Learned the techniques and benefits of vermicompost production.
• Apiary Management: Acquired skills in managing and maintaining beehives for honey production.
• Industry Exposure: Visited Synthite Industries in Coimbatore, understanding their agricultural processes.

Phase 2:

• Agro-Industries: Hands-on experience with various agro-industries, focusing on practical applications.
• Oil Processing & Manufacturing: Observed and participated in the oil extraction and manufacturing processes.
• Drip Pipe Processing & Preparation: Gained insights into the preparation and processing of drip irrigation pipes.

Module 1:

• Cultivation and Processing of Turmeric: In-depth study and hands-on practice in the cultivation of turmeric and the production of turmeric powder.

Module 2:

• Seed Production Technology: Practical exposure to advanced techniques in seed production.
• Cultivation and Processing of Various Crops: Engaged in the cultivation and processing of different crops, gaining comprehensive knowledge of agricultural practices.

Tea Plantation Management:

• Comprehensive training on the cultivation, processing, and preparation of different types of tea.
• Jointly organized by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Kothari Agricultural Management Center, Coonoor, Nilgiris.
