Naveen Chauhan

I am currently working as Senior Auditor at RSM USI, I am part of the consumer and industrial sector (CP/IP) team and my responsibilities include conducting complete end to end audits for consumer and industrial sector engagements , as well as handling Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) 401K audits in the Mid-America's region/West American region. As part of my role, I have direct client interaction and lead the entire audit process from planning, execution till completion. Few significant areas I have worked upon at RSM are Revenue (ASC 606/IFRS 15), Leases (ASC 842/IFRS 16), Debt, Fixed Assets, Accounts payable/receivables, Expense, Cash etc.

On admin aspects - I have conducted multiple trainings to new joiners, freshers, staffs on audit risk and substantive procedures.

• I initially served Northeast-America's region clients both public (SEC) and private. There I was majorly involved in walk-throughs of processes, test of details and test of controls (ICFR). During the later phase, I served process based team (PBT) where I performed end to end audit for Procure to Pay (P2P) and Inventory process (Cash, Accounts payables/Receivables, expense, Inventory cut-off/valuation).
• In my first year as assurance associate, I performed various other audit procedures too like Lead sheet analysis, substantive testing, 10-Q/10-K tie outs/clerical on clients from FMCG Telecommunication, Oil and Gas, Dairy etc industries.
• Managed and trained less experience staff, interns and contractors on multiple engagements. Always contributed towards project management. As an lead associate and then Senior I reviewed work performed by staffs and guided them as per the tasks,procedures and onshore team requirements.
• Conducted various trainings with in team related to Cash PSP, confirmation.com tool, Factiva, Yahoo Finance etc tools along with resource management.
  

• Was a member of NSS society in college were I was responsible enough to be a part of various activities and drives conducted by NSS
• We conducted cleanness drive within college and nearby areas on regular interval of times
• I was a member of Child Education Department in which we used to teach children from slum areas twice or thrice in a week
• We also conducted blood donation drive within college along with various other donation camps at the time of any flood, disaster etc in India
• Lastly also conducted NSS Fest named "Sevaarth" back in 2019.

• Under my internship I did market survey and offline marketing of Share khan ltd.
• Brought business to firm as managed to open 4 DMAT accounts
• Learned about Mutual funds too (lump sum and SIP)
