• Designed, developed, and optimized Citi’s next-generation AML/KYC Compliance Platform, an enterprise-grade, high-throughput, and low-latency distributed system. The platform is engineered to handle real-time Transaction Screening (TS) and Global Customer Screening (CS) across Citi’s global retail and institutional banking networks. It ensures strict compliance with global regulatory standards (i.e., OFAC, etc.) while maintaining ultra-low latency to prevent friction in core banking workflows.
• Transaction Screening: Real-time and batch ingestion of high-volume financial transactions passed through Citi's internal risk-scoring engines to detect suspicious patterns, structuring, and anomalies.
• Customer Screening (CS) & Sanctions Filtering: Real-time screening of Customer Information Files (CIF) against global PEP (Politically Exposed Persons), adverse media, and OFAC sanctions watch lists during onboarding and lifecycle reviews.

Operational Excellence & Incident Management

• Led L2/L3 Production Support: Directed the rapid resolution of critical production incidents and performed rigorous Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to minimize system downtime.
