As a BIM Integration Lead, I was responsible for overseeing a multinational team of designers and engineers from the UK, Poland, and Paris, who were tasked with creating BIM models and establishing standards for Utilities, Libraries, and Civil Cells in OpenRoads and Microstation.
I created a range of standard operating procedures, checklists, and modelling standards that enabled my team to create integrated, clash-free BIM models that met HS2's stringent requirements. Water and Environment division was assigned the work of designing and preparing the BoQ for the Storm water Drain, Landscape Irrigation, sewerage system and water supply system and other facilities outside the station buildings and depot facilities, Freight Terminal, Marshalling yard, wayside maintenance and passing loop (other than MEP).
