1. Hi Temp Furnace Controller for Welding Research

Objective: To design a heat treatment furnace controller with a real-time clock (RTC) and data logging capabilities

Modules: Multi-channel ADC, I2C, UART, control algorithm with hysteresis, hardware interfacing.

Hardware Used: PIC16F877A microcontroller, K type thermocouple, DS1307 RTC, 2x16 LCD, relay, ULN2003A, Radix transmitter, CP2106 UART to USB Bridge.

Software used: MPLAB IDE, Hi-Tech C Compiler

Client: BHEL Welding Research Institute, TRICHY.

2. SPI-Based Set Point Tuner for PWM Controller of MIG Welding Power Source

Objective: To develop firmware for controlling the output current of a MIG welding power supply using SPI communication.
