• As part of the automation squad, my responsibilities were to automate the tech debt test cases.
• The tech debt test cases we planned to be executed after every build drop.
• To reduce the manual effort and time, automation squad was responsible to automate those cases
• From understanding the requirement to development of script and merge to master was the responsibility of automation squad team
• Project is Agile driven
• Test cases included automation of both Web and Native application
• Automation framework is build on BDD framework
• Requirements are maintained in JIRA and for maintaining test cases Xray which is JIRA plug-in is used

1) Python Selenium

• Involved in building automation script for client's web application using Python Selenium.
• Used client developed tool to maintain and run the scripts
• Integrated client tool with qTest (reporting tool) to maintain the run status of the test cases
• Build 500 + automation script for the regression test cases which planned to be run after every annual swift release
• It was a successful implementation, and saved a lot of manual efforts and billing cost of the client to run 500 + regression cases manually after every swift release
• Also build regression cases for frequent changing flow, that runs after every change release as part of regression testing

2) UFT application

• Involved in building automation scripts for client's mainframe and desktop application using UFT tool and VBScript programming language
• Review the client requirements and build design test cases and identify the regression cases
• UFT has advantage edge over selenium to automate mainframe and desktop application because of the ease of object spy feature
• It involved both data driven and keyword driven framework for test case automation
• UFT was integrated with HP ALM for function libraries, object repositories and test cases maintenance and Execution run status report
• It was again a successful implementation, which saved a lot of manual efforts and billing cost of the client

Function Testing Experience

• ER's testing in the Investor and Treasury services Technology domain
• ER testing included multiple applications such as Mainframe, web -application, STE integration, DHWGC, reporting following the Agile framework
• Validation of Swift payment interfaces, specializing in cash payment messages i.e
• MT103, MT202, MT202COV, MT210, MT304
• Test design planning, test case creation, defect logging, execution and defect closure
• Supported UAT and End to End testing
• Acquainted with tool like JIRA for user story maintenance, qTest for test case life cycle management for FST, UAT and E2E testing - Weekly refinements call with BA, Product Owner, and developer to understand the requirements and provide thoughts on the same
• We successfully implemented the Agile model and deliver the deliverables on time
• I have developed a macro for posting 100+ transactions during UAT required for E2E testing in a complete manual project which provided an extra time saving to them
• Developed macro for creating swifts' data driven from excel which provided extra pace in testing to the team
