Responsibilities: Primary

• Pricing and Margin Control: Ensure that proper pricing action are taken on time and also keep a track of margin with respect to Standard as well as.Fully allocated margin. Highlight risks and variation to India management and APAC finance team
• Budget / FCST / SBP – Participate and prepare Budget, FCST and SBP Plans for India AG Wholegood business. Explain the causals to the management
• Provide direction to the sales team in terms on marginality and improvement in Margins
• Periodically present financials to management
• Coordinate within different departments of finance to ensure all compliances are fulfilled

Secondary duties:

• Monitor Marketing and Discount Reserve, ensure the correct level of NRV and Obsolesce reserve, quarterly, tracking the monthly inventory level Track and Monitor Export related activities (EPDMS, Collections, Documentation to Bank)
• Track and Monitor Dealer incentive payout and receivables
• Track and Monitor SIP Plans for Employees
• Track and Monitor Warranty Payouts
• Support business decision with Ad Hoc analysis, including: business cases, profitability analysis, Commercial margin analysis and explanation
• Track Inventory and Inventory ageing and highlight to management
• Address taxation related queries
• Support in Internal, Statutory and SOX Audit
• Ad hoc Analysis related to India AG Financials
• Leadership/Team Management Responsibility: Ensure that the team can perform their job responsibility. Provide them guidance and ensure that they are provided with the right resources which help them to deliver their job.

Responsibilities: India Technology Center Controller

• Controlling the overall financials from AP, AR, P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Month end closing activities including:

a) All employee claims through Concur are accounted in books.

b) Provisions from all stakeholders checked and accounted during month end.

c) P&L analysis is done and after function head review is closed.

d) Balance Sheet analysis.

• All Treasury & Tax requirements like Tax packages, cash forecasts, Profit forecasts.
• Segmental P&L and Vertical P&L MIS have been initiated for current years for easy analysis and decision making of function head.
• Supported in closure of all audits during the year like Stat Audit, Tax audit.
• Advance tax calculation & payment.
• From accounting perspective supporting the AP activities, monthly GL reconciliation & GL clearing with the team.
• PA approvals (OPEX & CAPEX) controlling to help improve cost efficiency.
• Monthly Ops review preparation and review with ITC leaders.
• Long term (SBP) and Short term (Budget) planning with respective stakeholders and then submission to Global and updating the System where required.
• Responsibilities: APAC SG&A controller
• Controlling the overall APAC SG&A along with regional controllers.
• Month end closing activities including:

a) Monthly call with regions to review the status of SG&A in respective regions.

b) Updating the consolidated APAC SG&A file from UPLAN (system where all SG&A is loaded plan and actuals).

c) Cost Center wise analysis to highlight the red flags to leadership.

d) Sending the status to APAC FP&A Head and APAC CFO, once all aligned confirming the Global teams.

• Long Term and Short-term planning (Cost center wise, region wise)
• Directly controlling the central functions for APAC leaders (Parts , Precision, Brand). Sending monthly actuals Vs plan scenario for them to better control the numbers.
• Supporting and managing in the opening of new Cost centers as well as keeping the list clean by removing unused ones.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor 'One Asia' material cost price productivity analysis and report process.
• Ensure India monthly YOY material cost analysis and reports published on time per Regional/global request. Ensure timely and reliable financial result submission to GSS and region.
• Deep dive monthly result and understand cost change drivers, provide support to sourcing team focusing on delivery net target
• Set up cost control/governance for Material Price Productivity factors (RMI, Exchange rate impact etc)
• Lead Asia GSS MCP LRP/Profit Plan all preparation and communication, support leadership for decision making.
• Participate global analysis tool/system developing and deployment in Asia
• Maintain local analysis tool work smoothly, share best practices to global team and vice versa
• Work with the global team to set up the Asia GSS budget plan, monitor and understand actual expense Vs Plan
• Facilitating the communication between Globe and Asia and seek Continuous improvements.
• Manage Indirect OL & P4G and Global Indirect Report
• Monitor key financial internal controls within the end to end finance processes.
• Support GSS with other financial matter required, e.g. audit, tax

Controller Global Finance Center

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Controlling the overall financials from AP, AR, P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Month end closing activities including:

a) All intercompany revenue booking through ICNPA

b) All invoices booked and accounted for.

c) All employee claims through Concur are accounted in books.

d) Provisions from all stakeholders checked and accounted during month end.

e) P&L analysis is done and after function head review is closed

f) Balance Sheet preparation

• All Global treasury requirements like Tax packages, cash forecasts, Profit forecasts.
• Segmental P&L and Vertical P&L MIS have been initiated for current years for easy analysis and decision making of function head
• Supported in closure of all audits during the year like Stat Audit, Tax audit , TP study (RPT schedules)
• Handled all compliance reporting within time like TDS, GST, Tax filing.
• SEIS filing was done from scratch and was in continuous follow-up with the consultant, helping them in any queries and as a result got the claim in shortest time possible.
• Advance tax calculation & payment.
• From accounting perspective supporting the AP activities, monthly GL reconciliation & GL clearing with the team
• Ensuring all invoices are booked as per SOA and aligning stakeholders to follow the same.

Financial Planning & Analysis (P&L consolidation, Overall WOIL SGA, COPA, PP, OP & Category financials)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial close process through analysis of variances against budget, forecast, prior year actuals, key business initiative, review and provide report to respective management teams.
• Weekly compilation, analysis and reporting of current view vs Budget to Leadership for the overall WOIL P&L.
• Month end COPA run so as to enable monitoring of results at corporate level.
• SGA analysis of all functions, MIS preparation & reporting it to all function heads at month end.
• Forecasting of the overall P&L, preparation of Operating Plan & Profit Plan along with alignment with all stakeholders.
• Responsible for month end category financials for the category finance lead for their further analysis.
• Did a complete SGA analysis project with all parameters included in a user friendly file, helped in comparing numbers for last 5 years, helped in easing out many issues within SGA during Leadership reviews.
• Responsible for Leadership reviews like IBR & P4G every month.

Manufacturing Finance (Indirect Procurement, P4G, Inventory, Revex, Capex, PDC & Backend SGA)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Compilation, analysis and reporting of Current View vs Budget to Leadership
• Value Chain Validation (Traded Products)
• Facilitating Month End Closing activities
• Analyzing the exceptional increase in cost in SGA and PDC, and Revex tracking.
• Bill of Material tracking at month end of three factories
• Month on Month Inventory tracking and analysis
• Complete forecasting by category, month-wise and sku wise for traded goods
• Facilitate Standardized Global reporting
• Internal business review with leadership after every month end
• Controlling all Mfg. locations Capex spend
• Project Wise Capex tracking

Manufacturing Finance (F&W, TCQ & Backend SGA)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overall analysis and reporting of all levers
• Compilation, analysis and reporting of CV vs Budget to Leadership for F&W, TCQ & backend SGA
• Facilitating Month End Closing activities for all levers
• Forecasting plans for F&W, TCQ & backend SGA like OP & PP
• Quality Forecasting revamped by drilling it down to various parameters like hits and improvements to keep track
• End to End process validation for Quality Chargeback
• Raising red flags for any exceptional cost increase in any lever.

Manufacturing Finance (Freight & Warehouse)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overall analysis and reporting of Freight & Warehousing
• Compilation, analysis and reporting of CV vs Budget to Leadership
• Facilitating Month End Closing activities
• Forecasting plans for F&W like OP & PP
• Pending overdue Global Audit observations closed for Supply Chain, also facilitated Internal Auditors.
