  • My friends from school were working on starting a food truck business based on home cooked cuisine in Chennai in 2020. It seemed futile to start this kind of business during the lockdownI convinced them to shelf their plans and focus on launching a tech product in the same space
  • Within 45 days we had a prototype that could function at par with Swiggy or Zomato
  • Took us another few months to polish the product and launch
  • Despite my teams initial apprehension we were a $1.2 million dollar company on our way to raise our Series A. We had to shutdown due to founder conflict( 2 other founders)
  • We were backed by a chennai based VC firm Riverbridge and are in talks with a few international VC funds to help us scale
  • I built the entire tech platform with a team size of 2
  • I was incharge of the tech, creating the business model, marketing plan, content plan, and raising funds
  • Unfortunately shut down due to founder conflict(2 other founders)

  • Company Overview: Digital Marketing firm
  • Joined The Internet Generation, a marketing firm in its infancy in 2019 straight out of college
  • I started off as a client manager
  • Within the end of the year I had my own division and I had added 2 new verticals to the company, event management and influencer marketing and promoted to Creative Director.
  • Worked on digital marketing services for brands like Dunzo, Cavinkare, Nivaran90, Zenly, Thambi Vilas to name a few
  • Since then we have worked with over 50 brands
  • I also helped setup their flagship event TIGOM(The Internet Generation's Open Mic), Chennai's largest open mic
  • We hosted 12 of these every year along with various events like rap battles, movie screenings and launch event
  • This has helped get a deeper understanding of organising events while sticking to a calendar as well as build a strong relationship with the artist community of chennai
  • Quickly got promoted to Creative Director of the firm with my own team
  • Today we are the official marketing vendor for the Narcotics Bureau and the Traffic Police of Tamil Nadu
  • These clients have helped me gain a better understanding of how government organisations work and what kind of marketing they require
  • Over my three years there I had to master social media marketing, SEO, social media ads, design principles, social media video production, team management, post management, digital trend prediction, audience management, digital communication, event management and branding

  • The most notable was helping a saree brand based out of Arani, Tamilnadu called Shadhan Silks gain 3000 followers in 2 weeks
  • I was also incharge of Express Avenue Mall's(Chennai's most popular mall) new years event in 2021. I personally handled the main stage and the mini events
  • I worked as a digital consultant for a local politician handling his online and offline promotions

  • When I was in my first year of college I made friends with a film maker
  • I saw how he was struggling to find quality talent and I was able to identify a huge market gap
  • I started a facebook page to help connect talent to potential casting opportunities. We connected 100's of people through FB Dms.
  • Eventually built a tech platform to make it much simpler with a team of 3. I was simultaneously CEO,CTO, CFO
  • Worked with some of the largest production houses in Tamilnadu
  • Ultimately shut down in 2020 from burnout and the inability to conquer a monopolized film industry
  • I personally handled all aspects of the business including product management, project management, event management, marketing, fundraising, networking and sales

  • I joined Adda right after college to get a understanding of sales and sales processes and to implement it in my own businesses
  • By the 3rd month I had the highest number of conversions and was offered to head the chennai division of the company
  • Politely turned it down to focus on my own business
  • This internship really helped me understand the difference between small and large organisations and how to organise the sales process

  • Company Overview: Content Production house
  • I had approached this production house to see if they'd be interested in using my tech product filmak.in
  • In my meeting with the directors of the firm I had given them a few pointers on what kind of content to focus on
  • In the follow up meeting they proposed that I create a show for them and their platform
  • We created a 24 episode show called The Cloakroom, Chennai's first show on independent music
  • I handled the entire production including auditioning, hiring, shoot scheduling, shoot coordination, studio setup, creative direction, supervising camera work, supervising audio work, supervising video production, marketing, accounts and release scheduling
  • This experience cued me into the power of content creation in today's world. I was also able to pickup the nuances of cinematography, lighting and editing.
