Objective
To improve the hardness of aluminium
Brief Description
In this project we have research and made aluminium composite to improve the hardness of aluminium. For this we have cast the combination of 96 grade of aluminium and silicon carbide which are in the ratio of 90:10. After that the cast rectangular slab goes through the Rockwell harness test. On comparing the Rockwell harness Test reports of both we conclude that on adding 10% silicon carbide the hardness is increased by 20%.
