I am currently employed as a solution consultant, responsible for designing solutions that meet business requirements aligned with organizational objectives. My role includes creating solution design plans, evaluating existing infrastructure and technologies, and recommending enhancements.

• Solution Design Documents:

Developing high-level and low-level design documents for WAN, SDWAN & LAN technologies outlining the layout, components, and interconnections with different networks. This serves as a guide for implementation and troubleshooting.

Designing network transformation plans considering scalability, redundancy and security parameters.

Strategizing hardware upgrades and replacements by leveraging device components, latest standards and technologies for enhanced adaptability.

Finalizing the equipment selection and preparing bill of materials for cisco devices, sfps, patch cords, access points, antennas, wireless controllers etc for network transformation projects.

Offering comprehensive implementation handbooks to migration team with step-by-step instructions for site migrations.

• Collaboration and Reporting:

Teaming up with the stakeholders in a dry run call before migration activities.

Contributing to weekly standup calls, providing updates on transformation tasks.

Collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver successful network transformation projects.

Working closely with project managers, configuration teams, and customer peers during site migrations.

• Network Monitoring Enhancement:

Led the build and run phases for observability, emphasizing effective monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization using tools like Splunk, ThousandEyes, and LiveAction.

Configuring monitoring dashboards in monitoring tools for real-time visibility into network health.

Developing custom alerts and correlation rules to proactively detect anomalies.

Providing monthly service reports to customers, emphasizing their tools.

Additionally, I create dashboards and schedule weekly and monthly reports in tools for effective network monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Project Management and Communication:

Utilizing tools like ServiceNow for assigning, closing and tracking project-related tasks.

Discussing gap analysis meetings with customers for smooth transitions.

Advising on software and hardware upgrades based on OEM recommended releases.
