Description:
Reconciliation is an accounting process in which two sets of records are compared to ensure that the
results are accurate and consistent. Reconciliation also assures that the general ledger accounts are
accurate, consistent, and complete. However, besides business, reconciliation can be employed for
personal reasons.
Account reconciliation is beneficial for explaining discrepancies in account balances or financial data.
Some differences might be allowed because of the differences arising from the timing of payments and
deposits. Unexplained or inexplicable inconsistencies, on the other hand, could indicate accounting
fraud or fraud in general. Reconciliation of records can be done on a daily, monthly, or annual basis.

transportation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Tested 11 modules out of 11.
• Written the test cases for 5 modules.

compliance requirements. Including any rules and regulations (laws) formulated for that product.

warrants and any other security on issue from time to time.
