Having been the child of an Indian Diplomat who had been posted in different countries, major part of schooling was completed overseas. Having completed Cambridge IGCSE at the International School of Lusaka, Zambia where my father was posted as the High Commissioner of India, I shifted to India on my father’s superannuation from the Indian Foreign Service. After a stint of a few months in Pathways World School Aravali (2013-2014), I switched my Board from International Baccalaureate (IB) to Cambridge A Levels.
Internship done with Ms. Reeta Kohli, Senior Advocate, Punjab and Haryana High Court and now Member of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), allowed for teamwork, case research and exposure to court proceedings. Analytical mindset and proficiency in English language accelerated decision-making process, showcasing a goal oriented approach to achieving desired outcomes in various situations and cases. Discussions with clients enhanced ability to understand cases from clients’ point of view which helped build an empathetic approach.

Due to my exposure to diplomatic environment overseas I felt encouraged to pursue the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) held under the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for England and Wales. I am still going through the process of this examination.
Besides this, I am keeping myself informed of political, social and legal developments happening in India as well internationally. In addition to the media I keep myself engaged in reading books on current issues, history and philosophy.
