  • Interprets prescription orders, dispenses medications, and counsels patients on drugs.
  • Educates patients about possible drug interactions and gives special administration instructions and reviews and monitors the medicine therapy of individual patients, and assesses the effectiveness of the total medicine therapy.
  • Maintains appropriate drug records and completes reports as necessary including both schedule H1 as well as narcotic formulations.
  • Supervises and coordinates the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Sales Assistants
  • Handles procurement as well as purchase of drugs.
