Working as a patient care technician at Lutheran gave me a lot of experience in the hospital environment. It was one of my first jobs working with patients and it is what got me wanting to work in healthcare. My responsibilities as a patient care technician were taking care of patients, making sure that their needs were cared for. I would follow nurses around doing everything that they would ask of me and more. It taught me teamwork and also gave me experience in working in a chaotic and fast pace environment.
