Introduction
I live in New Albany, Indiana, and am considering relocating to Upstate South Carolina. I am seeking a career that brings together my love for sports, passion for people and community, and calling to ministry. While I have spent the past six years working in residential remodeling, my heart has continued to be drawn toward ministry and investing in the next generation. As Psalm 78:4 says, “We will not hide them from their children, but tell the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.”
Ministry Experience
- Church Ministry & Leadership: I currently serve my local church, Floyds Knobs Baptist Church, through youth ministry, hospitality, and as a Sunday school teacher. I am also leading a men's discipleship group.
I have been part of the Hospitality Team and have been a VBS teacher and rotation leader.
- Youth Sports: I have volunteered as an assistant coach for youth flag football, basketball, and little league baseball teams and have provided instruction at La Casa Baseball Academy.
- International Ministry: I completed a 9 month internship in Ljubljana, Slovenia, serving in the local church through discipleship, young adult ministry, Teen Challenge, worship, and church resource development.
I've raised personal financial support for the internship through partnership development.
- International Student Outreach: I completed a 7 month internship with the Hospitality Center for Chinese/International Students in St. Paul, MN, engaging University of Minnesota students through community outreach, biweekly meals, food and clothing drives, outings, and administrative support.
