The Finworks project is responsible to build datasets for Financial reports for all domains.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyzed large datasets to identify trends, patterns and correlations for business insights.
• Developed dashboards with Plx to monitor key performance indicators.
• Leveraged SQL queries to extract, transform and load data into databases.
• Performed quality assurance testing on newly developed reporting solutions.

The project builds data solutions and gives insights to the stakeholders and restaurant/franchise owners on the sales, orders, loyalty, delivery channels and revenue metrics etc. Weekly/ Yearly / Monthly. Ingesting the data to Amazon Redshift(EDW), transforming the data to creating and automating the reports for the end users so they can consume it in their processes or generate insights using various reporting tools and flows.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supporting clients with ETL solutions and datasets to build tableau reports and generate insights
• Enhancement and support activities related to ETL jobs creation on Matillion tool to fetch data from Amazon Redshift and transforming it to build tableau datasets and reports
• Requirement gathering from clients for new dashboards/reports
• Creating new hyper/ native datasets for tableau reporting based on requirement document shared by the analytics team
• Supporting the workflows and dashboards created by the analytics for any failures and issues

The project involves supporting the clients with business reports and data in order to help Google track and make the overall onboarding and billing process smooth and efficient. It involves innovating and automating reports and onboarding process so that employees at Google

The project involved in migrating data from source systems and is fed into the EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse). This process includes extraction of data from source systems, applying transformations and loading the data after the query tuning and performance check. The process of Extraction, transformation, comparison and loading of the Data from ADH (Amdocs Development Hub) into the Data warehouse is done using the Oracle Data Integrator and Teradata Client Utilities. Coding of the processes is done using Teradata SQL and BTEQ scripts. These Processes are scheduled to run daily, weekly or monthly. End users are given Tableau reports for Revenue data that helps them forecast /improve the revenue model.

• Transformed Logical Data Model to Physical Data Model ensuring the Primary Key and Foreign key relationships in PDM, consistency of definitions of Data Attributes and Primary Index taking into consideration of both planned access of data and even distribution of data across all the available AMPS
• Created tables, views in Teradata according to the requirements
• Extracted data from various source systems like Oracle, SQL Server and flat files as per the requirements using TPT and BTEQ scripts in Unix environment
• Performed bulk data load from multiple data source (ORACLE, legacy systems) to Teradata RDBMS using SQL, BTEQ and Fast Load

BCBS-239 has principles for effective risk data aggregation & risk reporting in a bank. Project architecture has various layers having checkpoints for data at each layer. Data flows from hive source to final Teradata target and then made available to the clients.

• Working as ETL developer. Created SCD Type I, Type II and dynamic mappings on Informatica 10.0 using Hive and Teradata tables as the source and target
• BTEQ creation for Teradata tables
• Creating simple shell scripts to ingest data files in hive tables

• Worked as an ETL developer creating SCD Type I, Type II maps and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
• Write SQL queries in Postgres SQL to help the project requirement of handling the transactional data in Greenplum Database
• Designed and Developed Control-M(Scheduler)jobs and finalized the complex design with various dependencies between dimensional and fact tables
• Migration activities from Dev to higher environments using Harvest and other migration tools.
• Unit testing and Date Integrity checks by creating various test cases
• Ticket Resolving: Part of L1 Support team, responsible for all the solution of job failure tickets and reporting simple data issues raised by the business
