Role: BI Team Lead (Technical)

The objective was to develop new reports and enhance the existing reports based on the client requirement. Have modified and created approximately 200+ BIP reports during the upgrade phase for ORMB. The BI team was mentored under my guidance to achieve successful Go-live. This includes resolving numerous defects/JIRA’s and administrating new security features in BI.

• Developing and modifying 100+ BIP reports

Role: BI Technical Lead

Duration: Ongoing –March 2021 to May 2021

The objective is to create the Financial Data Platform Integration Approach, based on upstream and downstream data interface usage patterns and to provide recommendations of the infrastructure components needed on the platform, based on data, integration and usage requirements. To document the current state report inventory leveraging financial data found in both the Feasibility Deliverable as well as the To-Be Requirements/Impact Assessment deliverables from the Feasibility phase.

• Understanding and analyzing Business Reports based on Finance specific modules.

Role: OBIEE/BIP Support Engineer

Duration: 46 months (Offshore) –May 2017 to March 2021

The aim of this project was to support the various client over EMEA/APAC regarding the OBIEE/BIP reporting area in the Oracle Fusion framework. This involved handling multiple service requests on the daily basis to support the critical projects.

Responsibilities and key deliverables:

• Working on all the versions of OBIEE from 11g to 12c.
• Handling Service Requests (approx. 3000+) from different clients.
• Deployment of bug fixes provide by Oracle
• Working on different modules of HCM and Finance for customer in OBIEE workspace.

Role: OBIEE Developer

The client belongs to one of the major banks in UK. This project was related to implementation of reporting capabilities in the area of Oracle Learning Management using the OBIEE and ODI tool.

Responsibilities and key deliverables:

• Worked along with business analysts, developers, management professionals and with business users from various locations of customer to gather requirements.
• Experience in Dimensional Modelling such as star schema, snowflake schema, creating Facts, Dimensions and Measures.
• Using Data Warehousing DWH tools like OBIEE, ODI.
• Exclusively worked on OBIEE Administration Physical, Business Model Mapping, and Presentation Layers, Answers, Dashboards, Catalog Manager.
• Configured the Oracle Data Integrator ODI software tool in a three-tier Environment and performed periodic upgrades, performed source-to-target mappings, storage capacity planning, developing ETL.
• Developed and delivered ETL scenarios.

Role: Peoplesoft Developer

Duration: 16 months (Offshore) –Jan 2014 to May 2015

This project aims to upgrade from the existing Peoplesoft tools/application to the next higher version, which will provide better functionalities and capabilities to handle the Core HCM module.

Responsibilities and key deliverables:

• Fit gap analysis – Proactively worked on the analysis work
• Conducted meetings with users and testing team and involved in discussing their problems and helped them in finding out the proper solutions.
• Reviewed compare reports and analyzing the disposition to keep vanilla or to keep custom or reapplying the customizations.
• Lead retrofit activity team with major work completed in a time frame of 3 weeks.
• Testing and bug fixing of all the delivered and customized modules and provided analysis and resolution for system defects identified during testing. Support during SIT and UAT.
• Migration – activities including the PSADMIN roles.
• Ran SYSAUDIT, DDDAUDIT, & ALTAUDIT to clean up the orphan objects in the database

Role: Peoplesoft Developer

Duration: 7 months (Offshore) – Oct 2012 –April 2013

The client is a majorly present in the USA and this project aims to upgrade the PeopleTools version which related to retrofitting various objects present in the tool.

Responsibilities and key deliverables:

• Implemented PeopleTools upgrade from 8.48 to 8.52.
• Retrofitted PeopleSoft Objects – Fields, Records, Pages, Components, Menus, Application Engine, PS Query and Permission Lists.
• Retrofitted all the App Engines irrespective of modules.
• Worked closely with the project team to formulate and implement a flexible system design that meets functional requirements and designing the entire data load process.
• Role: OBIEE Developer
• Duration: 6 months (Offshore) –Jan 2012 – July 2013
• This was an internal tool development using the OBIEE 11g tool and the source system being the Peoplesoft, it was an upgrade analyzer tool to understand the data from the module in an organized pattern highlighting the analysis performed on the data source.
• Responsibilities and key deliverables:
• Developed a tool – EasyU an upgrade analyzer reporting tool, using the technology Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g along-with PeopleSoft different tools version.
• Designed and developed the tool, OBIEE installation, rpd framework, analytics and BI Publisher Reporting was handled.
• Developed the write-back property in OBIEE which enables writing the data to the backend database.
• Worked for various clients to develop the tool EasyU as per the requirement.
