Platform - SUSE Linux, RedHat Linux, Ubuntu

• Build golden machine image template by integrating latest CIS Benchmark controls & settings, incorporating third party agents in automated manner using Packer tool (HashiCorp).
• Perform internal build validation & testing in lab using Qualys SCA & VA scan, CIS Assessor & build kit tool to get the results & repeat the steps till we get a clean report and release industry standard CIS compliance golden images.
• Golden images for RHEL, SUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu will be built for different region (APAC, EMEA, NAFTA & CHINA) and template will be deployed by Poly-cloud in different platform like VMware, AWS, AZURE and lightning cloud using ova or qcow2 image format.
• Prepare live documents for product build guide, deployment guide, hardening guide and release notes for each quarter and give demo to client on newly made changes and how to deploy the new image.
• Configured Landscape from scratch using JUJU controller for Ubuntu registration and lifecycle management.
• Managing central SUMA server, proxy server, system, roles, groups, users, software channels, activation keys, boostrap scripts using SUMA GUI & spacecmd command line utility on SUSE manager CLI.
• Critical & important security CVE’s release by SUSE to be pushed to daicert channels twice a month for SLES 12 SP5 which will be available to operation team to perform patching.
• Different channels/repositories are created for different packages related to OS, application and database which will be synced monthly for SLES 15 SP3, SP4.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE – Red hat Enterprise Linux and Red hat Satellite

• Built and configured Red Hat Satellite server from the scratch - attaching subscription, generating manifest for satellite server, sync repositories, registering clients using activation key & bootstrap script.
• Performed kernel level patching using Yum utility & VMware tool upgrade on Quarterly Basis of RHEL 5, 6,7 and 8.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE – AWS Cloud Computing Platform and DOCKER Containers with Kubernetes.

• Working Knowledge on AWS Public Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to Multiple service Like EC2, IAM, AMI, VPC, S3, EBS, ELB, Auto-Scaling & Cloud Watch.
• Implemented VPC with public and Private Subnet and maintaining the route table, internet gateway, Nat Instances within the VPC for 3 Tier Web Applications.
