Project Description:

• Automated data workflows were required for backend systems—handled using Python, REST APIs, Pandas, and MySQL.
• Data extraction from internal and external sources was needed—addressed using custom scraping modules.
• A secure and SSDF-compliant infrastructure was needed—set up on private cloud with VPN, Jenkins, and agent nodes.

Contribution:

💻 Development:

• Developed backend systems and automation scripts using Python, focusing on reliability and clean architecture.
• Integrated RESTful APIs to automate the retrieval of external data into backend workflows.
• Processed and cleaned structured data using Pandas for analysis and storage.
• Performed data insertion, retrieval, and updates using MySQL for backend storage.
• Used Django to create backend endpoints and enable internal access to processed data.
• Built standalone web scraping modules using Selenium and BeautifulSoup to collect data from internal websites.
• Contributed to debugging, refactoring, and optimizing backend code for maintainability and performance.
• Maintained version control and conducted code reviews using Git and Gerrit.

☁️ Cloud Computing:

• Contributed to building an SSDF-compliant environment within the organization’s internal private cloud.
• Set up VPN access to ensure secure and restricted connectivity for internal services.
• Provisioned and configured Jenkins servers and agent nodes to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Assisted in the creation of isolated, secure infrastructure components required for internal development and automation workflows.
• Applied cloud infrastructure best practices aligned with secure software development frameworks, backed by knowledge from Microsoft Azure Administrator certification.
