Senior Executive - Operational Care Specialist (Sea Logistics)

  • To monitor and report on the operational performance of carriers and other vendors as well as ensure strong data quality for timely and accurate customer reporting
  • To validate and follow up with carriers on arrival notices and carrier invoices ensuring timely delivery order (DO) receipts
  • Responsible to handle both FCL and LCL shipments and provide end - to - end solutions related to operations
  • Review daily shipment exceptions and resolve with service providers to ensure a timely flow of freight
  • Responsible for raising invoices to customers based on Incoterms
  • Filing requests on Odex to respective Liners, Co-Loaders, and NVOCCs for the invoices
  • Managing buyer console & shipper console shipments and providing end-to-end solutions by coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Scheduling payment release to the Liner, and Co-loader for charges involving Local Freight, Detention, High Sea Shipment and Storage
  • Follow-up for the Delivery orders with respective Shipping lines
  • Responsible to arrange payment receipt from the liner by ensuring the correct UTR details are provided and timely receipts of Delivery orders are achieved

  • Preparing Advanced charge audit report and generating additional invoices to avoid short recovery on Pan India level

  • Monitoring & control of Import vessel Call Closure by sending the report to SSC, Import IGM team and asking them to do call closure and Pre discharge process of pending voyages, respectively
  • Coordination with various locations, import doc, CSU and DO team to get work done smoothly
