- Creating realistic wiring harness routing, having mechanical properties in vehicles, considering 2D drawings, material data, and 3D CAD data.
- Using mathematical considerations based on various standards to calculate the best and nearest possible bending radius for both HV and LV cables.
- Optimization of high/low voltage wiring harness in terms of bending radius, clearance to surrounding objects, forces on cables, connectors, and clips, suggesting clipping orientation for torsion-free harness installation, and length adjustment for design improvement.
- Executing virtual validation by performing motion kinematics, creating an actual wiring bundle with desired mechanical properties, analyzing critical areas of wiring inside the vehicle virtually, and performing optimization.
- Optimization of grommets and channels, and proposing the best possible design in terms of fatigue life and design feasibility.
- Performing virtual fatigue life simulation for real-time harness lifecycle prediction in vehicles as per customer standards.
- Independently coordinating with the European team to generate project requirements and clarify engineering concerns. Also, showcasing simulation reports directly to the clients, explaining real-time harness issues and feasible proposals.
