Contribution during Designing phase

• Involved in Engineering - design of Conarc Furnace, Ladle Heating Furnace, Hydraulic Systems & Material Handling area at Steel Melt Shop.
• Studying and Implementing the Structural drawings co-ordinate with the Engineering department related and correction in the drawings as per site conditions.
• Involved in Engineering – design of Velco-Carbon Injection System, Side Lance System and Top Lance for Conarc Furnace.
• Involved in Engineering –design of Ladle/Launder Preheaters, Launders and Ladle Stands.
• Proactive Inspections of 3T Wall Cranes, Preheaters, Launders and Ladle Stands for Melt Shop.
• Monitoring day-to-day site activities, manpower and equipment to complete the project in time limits.
• Purchase Requisition, Generation of Material codes & Procurement for Mechanical Equipments required accessories.

Contribution during Project commissioning and testing phase

• Involved in Erection-Testing-Commissioning of Conarc Furnace, Ladle Heating Furnace.
• Involved in Erection-Testing-Commissioning of Velco-Carbon Injection system, Side lance, top lance, Bottom stirring system for Conarc furnace.
• Involved in Erection-Testing-Commissioning of Ladle Stirring, Pneumatics, and Ladle Transfer Cars for Ladle Furnace

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Mechanical equipments of 200T Conarc Furnace Ladle Furnaces, Hydraulics (Rexroth) and Pneumatics and auxiliaries like Grainshot, HMPS, RHTOB & FES Area.
• Maintenance of Material handling System - Belt Conveyors, Tripper Cars, Bunkers, Vibrofeeders.
• Preventive Maintenance of plant equipments as per the monthly schedule to ensure smooth running and avoid breakdowns for uninterrupted production.
• Effective Plant Reliability, Equipment availability and Cost reduction activities.
• Assessed day-to-day operational workflows alongside heads of departments, focusing on maintenance tasks and safety protocol compliance.
• Proactively attending the Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Co-Jet (Praxair), Carbon Injection System (Velco), EBT Lance, Door Lance etc.
• Managing the Consumables, Resources, Spare Management, Manpower according to the job requirement.
• Supervision & implementation of action plans (Preventive/Shutdown/Breakdown Maintenance) to reduce wastage, rework, and recycling to increase plant reliability and Production targets as per Essar Management Plan.
• Modifications in current working equipment and implementing techniques to save time, cost and increase reliability of system, and following safety standards.
• Providing training to the Juniors and Workmen on operation and maintenance of Plant machinery. Identifies and Implements cost and energy saving measures.
• Conducting Daily Tool Box for Juniors, skilled Workmen and unskilled workmen as per Plant Safety norms.
• Ensures that the documents are maintained as per ISO 9001:2008.
