Nilofar Shaikh

I am Dr. Nilofar Shaikh, an educator with a deep commitment to teaching, shaped by over 14 years of experience in IB and CBSE schools. Throughout my journey, I’ve actively participated in and led numerous workshops focused on "Teaching and Learning," which have been pivotal in enhancing my teaching methods. In 2019, I was honoured with the Global Teacher's Award for excellence in teaching, a recognition that stands alongside the many awards and certificates I’ve received over the years. However, the love and respect of my students are what I value the most. I believe that to be a great teacher, one must first be a dedicated learner. My passion lies in continuously upgrading my skills and embracing the latest educational practices, ensuring that my students can achieve their fullest potential. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading blogs, writing articles and poems, and even experimenting in the kitchen. What sets me apart is my cheerful and creative personality, which allows me to express ideas confidently and connect with others effortlessly. This combination of experience, continuous learning, and a genuine connection with my students fuels my drive to be the best educator I can be.
