Ninad Apune

Motivated and technically driven mechanical engineering graduate with a strong foundation in design, manufacturing, and simulation. I gained hands-on exposure to process engineering using SAP, CAD, and FEA tools during my internship at Wilo Mather and Platt. Proficient in CAD/CAM and MATLAB, with growing expertise in Python and business analytics to complement technical problem-solving. Eager to contribute in design or R&D roles by applying engineering knowledge, analytical thinking, and a commitment to innovation and continuous learning.

• Testing fixture design, I designed a custom testing fixture using Fusion 360, applied FEA simulation to evaluate structural integrity, and validated results with physical testing for performance benchmarking
• Wood polymer composite printing project, investigated extrusion-based 3D printing using wood-polymer composite filament, calibrated extruder and spool speeds for optimal flow and print quality, analyzed printed parts for surface finish and mechanical strength
