- Responsibilities:-
- Need to work on denials came from insurance company and sometimes need to do a follow up with insurance companies in order to get the claim process.
- Need to check Outlook on daily basis whether any update came from the Client, Posting teamand any coders.
- If the payment has already been received from the patient or insurance company then we directly need to send the claim to posting team to post that payment and make that balance Zero.
- Working on different projects like Appeals, Coding and Chartswap.
- In the coding project, the AR specialist reviewed and analyzed the claim sent for coding, and we received a response from the coder to update the modifier, diagnosis code, and CPT. So we shall act in accordance with the client's expectations.
- Another project, Chartswap has a patient-authorized signing form where he or she requests a billing statement, and our job is to examine all of the demographic information to see if it is correct. If all of the facts provided are correct, we will proceed with the claim by uploading their billing statement. If not, we will reject it and return it to the patient for correction or update.

- We need to do an analysis or clarified those medical bills on the behalf of the provider whether it is processed correctly or is it denied for what reason from the insurance company.
- Need to complete all the SLAs pending on weekly basis.
- Sometimes we need to call over the insurance company if unable to get any information or a proof related to the payment/other details like eligibility information on the software or web portal.
- Settlement of advance payment issue via insurance company or patient should be adjusted whenever taking any services in future.
- Conduct a thorough study and analysis of the claim, including any denials from the insurance company. Provide assistance through web portals and phone calls to insurance representatives.
