• Responsible for managing team for global spend consolidation for MRO spend for clients with spend of annual $450M+ USD.

• Primary responsibility includes consolidation of annual spend, create dashboard, review and analyze spend data to find opportunities for hard savings, supplier consolidation, aggregator inclusion, lead time optimization, alternate supplier development, reverse engineering project and others.

• Working out multiple data & spend models & suggesting client with opportunities for saving, reduction of lead time and supplier.

Outline Agreements and Contract:

• Preparing outline agreements through SAP

• Support in contract preparation of strategic aggregators, fabricators and high spend OEM.

Plant led projects

• Responsible from analysis to execution of exclusive projects ranging from savings, PI and Inventory optimization suggested by client.

• Major projects include Crib crawl, Part price saving, and GSSC cost savings.

Saving Projects:

• Managing & analyzing through multiple data models for the creation of hard-saving projects.
• Completed and achieved savings on 18+ projects & achieved savings of $ 1.2M potential saving.
• Major project includes high spend high value commercial spend consolidation, tail end manufacturer consolidation, high spend fabricated project, blades and razors 5A-5B analysis.

Responsibilities include capex, M.R.O, Project and import procurement of Goa and Hyderabad Office.

Prominent in purchasing of capital procurement, fabricated equipment, structural, electrical, instrumentation,

O&M (MRO):

• Key responsibility of MRO procurement of CCS, Facilities, Maintenance, DBU and Admin.
• Analyzed spend data to identify and execute cost-savings, cost-avoidance and value analysis opportunities.
• Spend Value: Rs. 130 Cr

Capex and Project:

• Handling project procurement of expansion project and includes finalization of contracts of Civil, HVAC, Electrical and Fire System.
• Deliverables includes procurement of capex machineries, workbench to final handover materials.
• Notable Project Handled: Galileo: Phase 1: Expansion of 3 Fiber Cable Line, R&D Center and Leo 2: MWS Line debottlenecking. Successfully completed during covid period.

Contract:

• Key Contract personnel for all contracts of CommScope. Includes spend analysis to convert into AMC, ARC and SLA.
• Introduced 13 Contracts to minimize 21% ordering volume.

Key achievement:

• Rs. 2.2 Cr saved in transportation contract. (FTL).
• Rs. 40 Lacs saved in canteen contract.
• Implementation of reverse auction procedure for finalization of high value contracts.
• Introduction and execution of MRP in Spares management.

Responsibilities include Project, Capex, M.R.O, Import procurement of Mundra and Palej Plant (Gujarat).

Responsible for P2P above INR 2 Lacs.

O&M:

• MRO procurement of spares, consumables, mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation materials.
• Includes Import for above categories alongwith finalisation of freight forwarders for Ex-works orders.
• Spend Value: Rs. 120 Cr.

Capex and Projects:

• Procurement of capex equipemt, Civil, mechanical and electrical contracts, fabrication equipment.
• Spend Value: Rs. 90 Cr for Capex. Projects as depends.
• Notable Project: MCF Line, Debottlenecking of Palej Plant, Modification of 3 lines at Palej from normal to specialty carbon black, chimney consolidation project at Mundra etc.
• EPCG License: Obtain EPCG License required for import of capex material, maintain file and liaise with DGFT through agents and CHA for license obtain, EODC and Bond Cancellation.

Category Management (S2C):

• Refractory: Annual planning for reactor wise procurement of refractory, supplier ARC, planned ordering and new vendor development.
• Packaging: Sole responsibility of strategic sourcing of packaging materials across 4 plants which includes FIBC Bulk bags, paper bags, liners, covers and pallets.
• Spend Value: Rs. 50 Crore for Packaging and Rs.20 Crore Refractory

Project:

• Responsibilities include both project purchase and MRO purchase as per project department indent Of NTPC-Farakka project (3 MMTPA 2.5 KM Coal Handling Plant).
• Responsible for supply chain managements for projects to ensure timely delivery for smooth running of project.
• Spend Value: Rs. 390 Cr.

O&M:

• Responsible from specification to completion of supply of all MRO requirements in Bulk Carriers of 70000 DWT (M.V Yugalraj & M.V Vignraj) along-with NTPC-Farakka CHP plant.
• Prominent purchase field: Constructional Steel, Mechanical & electrical items, Safety, Shipping, MRO, Admin Purchase.
• Spend Value: Rs. 110 Cr.
  

• Ensure program design, BOM preparation and commissioning of projects as per client schedule.
• Introduction of vendor for various materials as per projects requirement Ensure timely delivery for smooth running of project.
• Identify cost – saving possibilities, implementing Cost saving measures to achieve reduction in terms of material, procurement costs and logistics cost.
• Ensure with client of analysis of various industrial instruments and suggest required measures for development/upgradation.
• Notable conversant platforms: Siemens (S7, SCADA), Rockwell, Fuji Electric.
