• Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration for Electrical panels, shelves and Wire Harnesses.
• Create Installation plan in CAPP/MES and Author work instructions, SOP(Standard operating procedure), SWI(Standard work instruction).
• Reviews and approves Installation DWGs to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
• Continuously review the existing assembly process and drive process improvements.

Tools Used: CAPP, PDM, CDS-PC, IVT, CATIA, CMES.

• Creation of VWI(Visual Work Instructions) and Formboard drawings for Wire harness manufacturing.
• Developed and implemented manufacturing process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Created new processes for fabrication, assembly, testing, and inspection of products to meet customer requirements.
• Performed root cause analysis on various production issues and developed corrective actions plans.
• Collaborated with other departments such as Quality Control, Procurement, Maintenance and Production Planning to ensure timely delivery of parts and products according to specifications.

Tools Used: SAP, CATIA V5, CAPITAL HARNESS, VPM, EBAM, TAKSY.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams to determine wire harness assembly requirements.
• Assemble wires, cables, terminals and connectors according to specifications using hand tools such as crimpers, cutters, strippers and pliers.
• Troubleshooting wiring problems during assembly process.
• Providing feedback on ways to improve processes and reduce costs associated with production activities.
• Test assembled wire harnesses for proper operation with test equipment such as multimeters, DITMACO, MEGGER, DRO automation tools.
