After successfully establishing the Liverpool branch, ownership of the Manchester branch was undertaken, followed by a full-scale reorganization to streamline operations. This included restructuring the physical layout, and overhauling daily business logistics. In addition to managing the business, strategic consulting was provided to enhance performance. Over a five-year period, turnover increased by 45%, and profits rose by nearly 70%.
Proud to have founded a Cash & Carry and supermarket in October 1997, growing it into a well-regarded name in the North West’s Asian food retail sector. As the owner, responsibilities included leading the management team, overseeing daily operations, managing customer relations, and handling logistics, recruitment, and HR. Under this leadership, the business expanded rapidly—growing from 10 to over 30 employees within the first eight years—and was successfully guided through multiple phases of growth and transformation.
