Organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of inventory, Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met, Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouses contributes to these, Managing the cycle counts, perpetual counts and functioning the External inventory and process audits in warehouses and make sure the variances within the budget and actions to recover the losses., Maximum utilization of space allotted at 3PL vendor by maintaining the minimum pallet qty and monitoring the stacking norms of inventory., Involving in inventory management to create a purchase and production plan to ensure that the items are available when the business needed., Ensuring stock adjustments based on Principal claims, Debits and insurance Claims to ensure accuracy of System v/s physical stock., Alarming the front end team on near expiry stocks and getting the liquidation plan from the concern before expiry of the product., Develop business by gaining new contracts, analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions., Ensure efficient use of transportation resources while meeting the needs of the customer., Maximize freight loads while minimizing freight costs by involving transportation modes, routing and frequency., Monitoring and evaluating Central Order processing (COP) team for all the order issues and giving inputs to improve the performance., Management of On Time In Full (OTIF) for all orders within the agreed Service levels with internal departments of organisation to process the orders at maximum efficiency., Cooperation with Finance & IT Department to resolve pricing and invoicing issues and management of communication with sales department and provide customer service for Direct channels and distributors., Implementing of vendor performance KPIs and schedule recurring meetings to discuss issues and to greet good efforts by developing an effective relationship model., Ensuring vendor compliance with process and procedures, including providing proper training and establishing vendor roles and responsibilities., Ability to develop vendor management strategy considering the budget, bench marking the market and the user requirements., Managing the warehouses by planning the inventory to have working capital efficiency, space management and labour management and quick services to distribution., Planning and Optimizing Warehouse Layout by considering the objectives, information’s and implementing by making sure of all changes made in the warehouse are replicated., Conducting Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) strives to determine how to best apply the company’s resources by presenting future time-phased demand, inventory status, and any limitations on resource availability such as warehouse space, transportation capacity.
