Responsibilities;

• Manage the 3PL and Branch warehouses operations for South India region for Six locations as per defined SLAs & Cost
• Manage the inventory at locations as per the MBQ defined and control the inventory at optimum level
• Ensuring the stock and process audits at locations on time and timely and submission for the inventory corrections and loss recovery
• Rationalization of Warehouse layouts, space optimization of 3PLs and transportation costs within the budget and to have better cost sale

Highlights;

• Consolidated & shrinking of warehouses by closing down Coimbatore, Cochin, Vizag & Gundur branch and warehouse entities which helped to bring down the SCM cost of region and helped to improve the visibility
• Improved inventory accuracy by developing and implementing enhanced control systems
• Could bring down the CCHP(Customer Complaints Handling) brought down to minimum with timely closure (within three days) for the region
• Training and developments of 3PL staffs and reportees in the region has improved the efficiencies both technical and physical

• Brought down secondary distribution cost from 2.8% to 1.7% against the annual budget of 2.3%
• Implemented PDP (Permanent Dispatch Plan) at all warehouse locations in South which helped to have a smooth order management process
• Implemented Cycle count of inventory at all locations to ensure variances identification and action thereupon
• Achieved On Time order deliveries 97% and In Full with 99% from 73% and 85% respectively
• Implemented digitalization of all inbound/outbound documents by scanning and uploading in a ftp server and reviewing with CFAs

• Monitoring Inbound and Outbound operations of warehouse to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of items in receiving inventory, replenishments...etc
• Timely reconciliation of all the warehouse & vendor receipts and giving the reports to the concerned departments for information and approvals
• Conducting weekly stock take for high value and fast moving items based on ABC analysis and reconciling the weekly data for finding the variances and to keep an accurate inventory
• Taking care of Home delivery by make sure the delivery happens to the customer on committed date & time for Consumer Durable products Furniture
• Timely checking on Communicating the discrepancies and damages to category team and vendors on time and making the debit notes and return documents as well

Highlights;

• Able to bring down the inventory accuracy from 1.15% to 0.15% which is lesser than the budget of 0.25%
• Implemented 5s lean strategy at warehouse which helped to improve picking efficiency
• Successful ERP migration of warehouse inventory from REM to Microsoft Navision
• Implementation of FMFO, which helped to bring down the warehouse expiry level to 0.75% from 1.9%
• Handled the Store Receiving team, Sales operations during the tenure which helped understand the operations of Hypermarkets
