In my role, I was responsible for assisting the Spice Cargo team with managing revenue and tonnage figures
Successfully extracted data from various sources and utilized SQL to apply the logical transformations provided by stakeholders
Took ownership of extracting OFP and AMOS data XML files, which used to be done using SSIS and loading them onto tables
Starting from scratch, I developed Python scripts to streamline the process, ensuring simplicity, efficiency, and speed
Our team took the initiative to automate the main revenue management reports, which were previously generated manually
To achieve this, we utilized SQL to populate the data and implemented scheduling processes, ensuring timely and accurate reports for informed business decisions
I was tasked with predicting under load in aircraft for future departures, which refers to the available space where cargo can be inserted
Utilizing data, I developed a predictive model for the departures over the next month
This prediction aided the cargo team in efficiently preparing packages based on the projected under load
In response to a revival request from the CFO, I was entrusted with the task of tracking the overall profitability of the company
This involved calculating both costs and revenues across various operations
By implementing robust data analysis techniques and utilizing appropriate financial metrics, I successfully provided insights into the company's profitability, enabling informed decision- making at the executive level.
