Commissioning

· Assisting the Lead Engineer and conducting the project works on-site during the commissioning period.

· Performing Testing, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning of instruments and Analyzers.

· Executing the commissioning procedures as per the project documentation provided.

· Completing the Pre-comm ITR (Inspection & Test Requirements) activities.

· Participating in technical meetings and handling discussions with client engineers on-site.

· Liaising with Construction/Mechanical Completion groups daily.

· Managing the completion of walk-downs and Punch Lists of offered systems/sub-systems.

· Managing instrumentation/automation vendor support during the commissioning phase for the assigned systems.

· Addressing Instrumentation Commissioning issues and resolving schedule conflicts within the Instrumentation team.

· Ensuring all documentation; tools, consumables, and equipment were available to perform the work scope.

· Coordinating functional testing of commissioned systems and engaging the Operations Team.

· Maintaining the as-built drawing during the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages of the project.

Maintenance

· Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation equipment such as sensors, transmitters, control valves, analyzers, VSD, Electrical Equipment, and other related devices.

· Performing calibration and testing of instrumentation equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

· Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and equipment failure.

· Maintaining comprehensive records of maintenance activities, including work orders, calibration reports, equipment history, and maintenance logs.

· Ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

· Investigating and resolving complex issues related to instrumentation systems. Analyzing system failures, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

· Managing inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability of critical components, and coordinating with procurement teams for timely replenishment.

Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements during maintenance activities.

· Commissioning of instruments and control systems in power plant of 3*180 MW gas turbine and 2640 MW Steam Power Plant

· Assist the Systems Engineer Supervisor in ensuring the commissioning work meets the Project objectives by conducting all necessary supervision of commissioning development preparation and execution work

· Monitoring Mechanical Completion Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Instrumentation/Control activities associated with facilities’ work scope

· Endorse discipline-specific formal handover documents from the project at the Pre-commissioning completion stage confirming their acceptability, including Factory Acceptance Testing, Operational Readiness Testing, and Operational Acceptance and Start-up

· Commissioning of ESD System and BMS system

· Maintenance of CEMS, Gas Chromatograph, and sampling monitoring system

· Calibration of Gas detector

· Loop Checking and Calibration of Instruments

· Commissioning of firefighting system and HVAC Systems

· Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Maintenance of Power Plant

• Calibrate and maintain a wide range of instrumentation devices such as sensors, transmitters, and controllers.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot any issues with instrumentation equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and replacements.
• Participate in troubleshooting activities during unexpected equipment failures or process deviations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime.
• Collect and analyze data from instrumentation and control systems to identify trends and anomalies.
• Participate in the selection and procurement of new instrumentation equipment.
• Plan and execute upgrades to instrumentation systems to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.

· Executed erection and maintenance activities of instrument systems as per schedule

· Checking of instrument installation as per P&I drawing

· Hands-on experience in control valve calibration like Mil, Fisher, ABB, Siemens

· Commissioning and erection experience in Coal Handling systems and Ash Handling systems

· Hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting RTD and Thermocouple

· Handled the responsibilities of control system checkout, tuning, and set-up Maintained and modified existing systems

· Hands-on Experience in Loop checking and Functional testing of all Instruments

· Testing, evaluating, modifying, and calibrating products/instruments

· Worked collaboratively with operation engineers, Electrical engineers, and other internal staff for completing multiple projects
