RAG‑Campus Virtual Assistant

Built a RAG-based campus assistant that retrieves from college docs to deliver cited, role-aware answers for students, faculty, and admin. Leverages Retrieval‑Augmented Generation to search institution‑specific policies and documents and generate accurate, grounded responses across admissions, fees, courses, attendance, exams, timetables, academic policies, department information, and administrative processes. Instead of a normal chatbot that gives generic answers, this system acts like a smart virtual assistant. Compared to traditional keyword search, it returns concise, source‑linked answers (not a list of links), surfacing the exact policy snippets and reducing time spent scanning documents.
