Nisheeth Khare

My journey in BHEL started as a design engineer of Industrial Motors and Alternators. This job was very close to my heart as it provided me to utilize my academic and technical knowledge as well as helped me to upgrade my research and development orientation. During my entire carrier, I got opportunities to develop high rating, critical application motors, spares and services management, marketing of R&M projects and heading the design team of Traction Machines in addition to other capability building projects like Design To Cost, Engineering Process Automation, etc.

• Development of Large rating motors for 660MW & 800 MW power plants.
• Development of optimized series of Alternators for RC with TEIL.
• Development of H-Series motors in line with TCA-2 with Siemens, Germany.
• Development of Large rating slow speed Vertical Motors for Lift Irrigation Schemes.
• Team member / Convener of Design To Cost (DTC) exercise in transformer and motors.
• DTC Expert Faculty of HRDI Noida.
• Conducted many training / knowledge sharing programs for customers / consultants in Bhopal or customer sites.
• Played important role in developing indigenous vendors for Pressurization Systems, FLP space heaters.
• Member of BIS committee for rotating machines.
• Commissioning of special design hazardous motors at various refinery sites.
• Development of special design vertical PCP motors for NPCIL 700 MW plants, Vertical synchronous motors for Pattisam LIS.
• Finalization of 'As Is' and 'To Be' activities for One BHEL project.
• Team member for motor design optimization project with BHEL R&D.
• 7 Nos. Patents / copyrights filed.
• Presented and published papers in national seminars like CIMFR and CBIP etc.
• Developed AME Web Portal 'AMEWEB' and played important role in development of KBE project for Engineering Process Automation System 'EPAS'.
