I joined the Navy under the 10+2(Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme in Dec 98, and subsequently completed my B Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and subsequently my M.Tech in Reliability Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. I have served onboard Indian Naval warships, under extremely trying conditions. Have managed both men and material and ensured that tasks at hand, were executed, within stipulated timelines. The 20 years of my service in the Navy, has ensured that I have been able to get a plethora of experience, in handling funds, men, systems, projects, agencies etc. I have been an instructor, manager, planner and also handler of both men and material. The exposure at IIT, Kharagpur, provided me with an added dimension and brought me to the fore front of the latest in Reliability Engineering. My strengths include honesty, dedication, hardwork and willingness to strive tirelessly to achieve desired goals. I take keen interest in playing sports together with being an avid photographer.
