Major Projects

  • Building and renovating Datacenter Rooms: This is a generic description of projects where the Datacenter rooms were redesigned , All the services like Network , Virtualization, storage,backup, Database were transferred to newly built datacenters .This project involved handling customer's vendor like Dell, Advanced Unibyte.The challenging part of this project was to carry out all these activities without disturbing ongoing production
  • Transitioning services from incumbents:This is a generic description of projects where the Infrastructure services were transferred from one organization to other as client has decided to change Outsourcing partner
    Objective: The project is to analyze what all services are present in Client's environment,respective stakeholders,arranging resources , planning for Knowledge transfer, getting the runbooks created, hosting Steering committee meeting etc
  • Transitioning servers from 1 virtual DC to other and to Cloud:Team Size: 45, Distributed in 3 different Countries/geographic locations Technical Environment: 10,500 windows/Linux servers, P2v,V2V,Zerto
    Objective: The project is to test, facilitate and move servers to newly built Virtual DC
  • Deploying Carbon Black on all Servers:Team Size: 15, Distributed in 5 different Countries/geographic locations
    Technical Environment: 500 windows servers
    Objective: The project is to test, facilitate and deploy Carbon black Intrusion detection s/w on Servers and after successful deployment setting up ticketing bridge for automated ticket creation
  • Moving servers to IBM Blue mix(cloud):Technical Environment: 200 File servers and 225 App servers
    Objective: The project is to test, facilitate and move servers to cloud in order to reap cloud benefits
  • Deploying Cylance End Point protection on Server and workstationsTechnical Environment: 45000 windows workstations and 2700 Windows servers
    Objective: The project is to test, facilitate and deploy Cylance Antivirus on Workstations and Servers and after successful deployment uninstalling MacAfee.
  • Centralizing Printing in across globe in Client's organization using Cirrato:Technical Environment: 45000 windows workstations and 400 Print Servers spread across 55 geographical locations.
    Objective: The project is to consolidate the print queues running on the servers and workstations and ultimately transfer those queues to Cirrato server and thereby decommissioning current print servers.
