• The project involves the development of an innovative mobility solution for individuals with limited limb mobility by enabling them to control a wheelchair through head gestures detected by a controller cap unit equipped with an accelerometer sensor.
• The controller cap unit, worn on the user's head, continuously collects data on head movements, which is wirelessly transmitted to a receiver mounted on a wheelchair.
• The wheelchair custom control system interprets the data and translates it into commands for movement allowing users to effortlessly maneuver the wheelchair by tilting their head in the desired direction
